Ofsted & SIAMS

Dear Parents and Guardians

As you will know, school recently had an Ofsted inspection, the outcome of which is now available.  This was a short inspection and so the report is in the form of a letter to Mrs Budd as Headteacher, please see link below.  A hard copy is also available from the school office on request.

I am very pleased to confirm that the school remains Good.  The inspection was very detailed, closely examining all aspects of school life and it is with great thanks to all the staff, governors, parents and of course children who contributed to this really positive conclusion.  I hope you agree that the report captures many of the positive areas of our school and we are proud of the results and outcome.  The findings also provide excellent direction in terms of areas of development to focus on and the staff and governors look forward to working with parents and children to continually improve the school.

Overall for it to be recognised that there is a "strong culture of learning and high expectations" and "Pupils are keen to share their learning and talk about school life" reflects really well on our school and the hard work to make this happen.  Thanks again.

Please do take time to read the report, and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me or Mrs Budd.

With best regards

Adam Owen
Chair of Governors ( 2016-2019)
